On March 5, 1969, President Richard M. Nixon signed Executive Order 11458 establishing a federal agency dedicated exclusively to minority business enterprise. Over the next fifty years, executive orders were signed by Presidents creating additional programs for women and veteran-owned businesses.This video chronicles Lexington's parallel fifty-year history as told through the personal stories of those who made it happen.
